JCC and a Palestinian delegation to cooperate in Irbid
A Palestinian cooperative delegation headed by the Deputy Director General of the Palestinian Center for Economic and Social Development visits Jordan to network relations and exchange experiences between cooperatives in the two countries, on the projects of a number of cooperative in Irbid. The visit included the Jordanian Association for Cooperative Entrepreneurship, which owns a productive kitchen and organizes training courses for people with disabilities to integrate them into society and Kafr Soum Agricultural Cooperative Association for Pomegranate Producers and its contribution to local development, and enhancing and building the capacities of cooperative members .
Both discussed maintaining and implementing one of the global cooperative principles, namely cooperation between cooperatives that serves cooperative work in both countries .
Shalabi focused on Jordan's firm position in supporting the Palestinian brothers embodied in Jordan Declaration 2024issued by the 11th APCMC last month supporting Jordan's efforts to stop the war on the Gaza Strip, and standing by the cooperatives in Gaza and the Palestinian delegation praised the Jordanian position in support of Palestine.
