The general director opens an exhibition of food products for "olive planting" in zarqa city
The director general of the Jordanian Cooperative Foundation, Abdul Fattah Al-Shalabi, on Tuesday, opened an exhibition to market the food products of the olive planting Cooperative Association in the Rusaifa Brigade in Zarqa Governorate. Al-Shalabi said that the association's establishment of this exhibition is considered a marketing window for its food products, and contributes to the service of cooperative members and the local community through what it provides of safe, healthy, and high-quality municipal-made foodstuffs, and also constitutes an additional source of income for the Association, adding that cooperative work represents a social and solidarity economic system that contributes to serving cooperative members and local communities alike.
In the presence of Zarqa cooperation director Assem Al-Korey and members of the association's management committee, Al-Shalabi stressed the importance of working on the implementation of investment projects by cooperatives in order to enhance their economic and developmental role in society, in addition to increasing their contribution to the local product. He pointed out that we will witness the launch of the permanent rural and Badia Products Exhibition in the capital Amman as one of the most important permanent marketing Windows soon, which of course will provide cooperatives with a space to market their products throughout the year.
